Clepe, Inc. ("Clepe", "we", "us", "our") operates the Clepe platform (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.
01Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account information (name, email, password, billing details)
- Phone numbers you purchase or connect
- Uploaded knowledge base files (PDFs, docs, text)
- Call scripts, prompts, flows, and agent configurations
- Contact/lead data you import or that is collected during calls (names, phone numbers, emails, conversation metadata)
Information we collect automatically
- Device, browser, IP address, approximate location
- Usage data (features used, API calls, campaign performance)
- Call metadata (duration, status, outcome, timestamps) - we do not store full audio recordings unless you explicitly enable recording and give consent
Third-party data
When you connect Twilio or other telephony providers, we receive metadata necessary to route and log calls. We do not control what those providers collect.
02How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process payments and subscriptions
- Send service, security, and support messages
- Detect fraud, abuse, and violations
- Comply with legal obligations
- Train and improve our models only on anonymized, aggregated usage metadata (never on your raw call content, uploaded files, or personal data)
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploaded knowledge base content or call transcripts to train foundation models.
03Sharing and Disclosure
We share information only:
- With service providers (Twilio, ElevenLabs, payment processors, cloud infrastructure) under strict contracts
- To comply with law, subpoenas, court orders, or government requests
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required)
- To protect our rights, safety, or property
04Data Retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations. Call metadata is retained for analytics and billing purposes for up to 24 months. You can request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements).
05Your Rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, delete, or export your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent (where processing is consent-based)

06International Transfers
Clepe is based in India. If you are outside India, your information is transferred to and processed in India. We use standard contractual clauses or other approved mechanisms for transfers from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.
07Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your account credentials.
08Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
09Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with the updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
